Otonabee Conservation is a registered charitable organization that welcomes financial gifts that are graciously accepted to further our goals.

We offer education programs for learners of all ages that focus on the environment. Our programs include hands-on activities to develop an understanding of our watershed. 

Join us for events in the Otonabee Region watershed! Plant trees, attend a board meeting, or visit us at a Conservation Area.

Join Otonabee Conservation through a co-op placement, internship, or volunteer opportunity. We help people learn about our watershed and improve the state of the environment by working together.

At the Bondar Challenge camp, youth learn about the environment through the art of photography. This fun outdoor photography camp encourages campers to connect with nature in a new way.

Each Spring, we offer the Spring Water Awareness Program (SWAP) to schools in the Otonabee Region watershed. SWAP helps children recognize and understand the dangers of water in the spring.

Otonabee Conservation is excited to provide a list of educational resources for families to stay connected with nature. Self-guided tours, photography challenges, instructional videos, and more!

Connect with resources to learn how to select and plant a tree, purchase trees through our Tree Seedling Sales program, or find out about Otonabee Conservation’s stewardship and restoration programs.

Participants in the Yellow Fish Road program learn that water from storm drains flows into local creeks and rivers. This means that only rain should go down the storm drain. Anything else can harm water quality and fish habitat.
