Otonabee Conservation collects data for monitoring and mapping purposes. We provide data and maps to the public for a variety of reasons:

Precipitation and Water Levels

Precipitation and water level data is collected from monitoring stations strategically located across the watershed. This information is used in the Flood Forecasting and Low Water Programs delivered by Otonabee Conservation.

Otonabee-Peterborough Source Protection Area

The Otonabee-Peterborough Source Protection Area is 1 of 5 source protection areas in the Trent Conservation Coalition Source Protection Region. It is approximately 3,365 square kilometres and includes portions of the 12 municipalities.
