Precipitation and Water Levels
Our monitoring network collects information about precipitation, water levels, flow, and climate. We use this data for flood forecasting and warning. Precipitation and water levels can also tell us if there may be low water conditions or drought.

NOTES:
1) Precipitation and water level data comes from automated monitoring stations. These monitoring stations operated by Water Survey of Canada and Otonabee Conservation.
2) Water level data is available all year.
3) Blue water droplets show where on the map precipitation data that is available all year. That is, these locations can measure rain, snow, sleet and hail.
4) Orange water droplets show where on the map only rainfall measured.
Precipitation Summary Table | Precipitation totals are 1-day totals from midnight to midnight.
Water Level Summary Table | Water levels gathered daily at 6 am

Visit the Water Survey of Canada website to search for flows and levels in your area or the Trent-Severn Waterway for water level information.
